NUNZIO

Nunzio (Cagnano Amiterno 1954) lives and works in Rome and Turin.

Studied at the accademia di Belle Arti di Roma. He was a student of Toti Scialoja. 

Together with Ceccobelli, Dessì, Gallo, Pizzi Cannella and Tirelli he moves into a studio in the former Cerere pasta factory in Via degli Ausoni. All exponents of what was to become known as the Nuova Scuola Romana, the New Roman School.

Ubu Prize for set design for Euripides "Troiane"

Award of Excellence at the 2nd Fujisakei Biennale established by Hakone Open-Air Museum and by Utsukashi-Ga-Hara Open-Air Museum.
Honorable Mention at the XLVI Biennale di Venezia, Venezia (IT).

1998
President of the Republic Prize awarded by the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca.
